When an experience has been too overwhelming to fully carry, part of that energy remains stuck. EMDR supports the release of that energy, so that the past no longer colors the present. Memories remain, but they lose their heaviness.
Personality Parts Work & Regression – Inner Child Therapy
Through gentle trance or guided visualization, we journey inward to the layers where old patterns were formed. Through understanding, love, and reconnection, these separated parts can once again participate in the wholeness of who you are.

About my practice and underlying vision

explains how old patterns formed in childhood can shape present behaviour, and how techniques like hypnotherapy, regression, cognitive therapy and visualization can help “update” these under-the-surface programs so new energy emerges.
in chaperer VI, in my thesis I talk about a fascinating experiment by Dr. Laskow, where healing intention or love-based focus was offered to cancer cells not to destroy them, but to appeal to their belonging as part of the whole — “a connection with the condition rather than separation.”
Integrative Psychotherapy Amsterdam and online — A Path to Wholeness
In this practice we explore the deep interconnectedness of mind, body and spirit.
Many of the struggles we encounter — whether emotional pain, physical symptoms, or life-long patterns —
are rooted in early experiences and unconscious programmes that feel familiar yet no longer serve us. Through a gentle combination of hypnotherapy, cognitive approaches and somatic exploration, we cultivate awareness and invite transformation at all levels of experience.
At the heart of this work is the understanding that healing arises when we come into deep relationship with what we are resisting.
Not as a battle to be won, but as an opportunity for integration and love to reshape our lived experience. In my thesis Het doen ontwaken van het zelfgenezend vermogen I explore how belonging and resonance —
even at the cellular level — support healing processes. One example comes from the work of Dr. Leonard Laskow, who suggested that truly acknowledging the condition rather than trying to obliterate it can shift its expression. This is a vantage point where science and spirit meet: recognising that every part of us participates in the dance of transformation.
Integration isn’t just about symptom relief — it’s about discovering new coherence between what we know, what we feel, and what we are. Here, every story of challenge holds an invitation and self-healing potential.
